Bayada Nurses Announces New Director

Providence, RI - Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Barrette as the new director for the Bayada Nurses Providence office.

Established in January 1998, the Providence office provides a broad spectrum of skilled nursing, personal care, support, therapy, and rehabilitation services to residents of Providence, East Providence, North Providence, Cranston, Warwick, Barrington, Bristol, Pawtucket, and North Kingstown.

One of Barrette's first priorities is relocating the current office in East Providence to a more central location in Providence. This move is slated to occur in April 2001.

As the new director, Barrette brings many years of experience in long-term care with her. Most recently she was the Executive Director and Administrator of the Beechwood Assisted Living and Health Center in Providence. Prior to that, she was the Administrator and Director of Nursing Services at Edmund Place Health Center in East Providence. In both these positions, she was instrumental in directing the start-up of assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.

Barrette received her MS in Health Services Administration from Salve Regina University. She also went through the Nursing Home Administrator Program at the University of Rhode Island and is a Registered Nurse (RN).

Founded in 1975, Bayada Nurses is an independently owned home health care agency that employs more than 5,000 nurses, home health aides, and therapists working from more than 60 offices in 11 states.
