| October 20, 2004 — Independence, OH — Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the opening of a new office that will provide comprehensive home health care services for the Cleveland area. The office is located at 5000 Rockside Plaza, Suite #320, in Independence, Ohio. Diane Hovan is the Director of the new office. Established in September of 2004, the Independence office is in the process of becoming Medicare certified. The office will provide intermittent skilled visits, with services being provided by nurses, home health aides, medical social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists. Services will be available throughout the Cleveland area, including Lake, Geauga, Summit, Lorain and Medina counties. The office will accept private pay, most insurances, and Medicare once the certification process is complete. The office will be staffed by local healthcare professionals established in the Cleveland area for many years. Diane Hovan, a co-founder and former chairman of the Aging Services Network of Euclid, says she’s excited to bring such a high level of quality health care to the area. “With the resources of Bayada Nurses, we can bring a customer focus and quick response time to patient needs and physician requests”, says Hovan. “We wanted to better serve this area and ensure that all Cleveland area residents have the opportunity to learn why our employees are called Heroes on the Home Front”, says Carolyn Weimer, RN, BSN, the office’s skilled nursing manager. Bayada Nurses has job opportunities for nurses, home health aides, therapists and social workers. The benefits of working in home care include one-on-one patient care, flexible hours, and the ability to work close to home. “We offer wonderful opportunities for health care professionals looking for meaningful work with flexible hours, and for those who want a change from the frantic pace of working in other areas of health care”, says Hovan. “We also offer unsurpassed quarterly and annual recognition programs like our Heroes on the Home Front Program that honors nurses and aides that exemplify the characteristics of being skilled, caring and reliable.” Founded in 1975 by J. Mark Baiada, Bayada Nurses is an independently owned home health care agency that employs more than 10,000 RNs, LPNs, home health aides, social workers and therapists working from more than 100 offices in 15 states.
