Moorestown, NJ - Bayada Nurses-a national
home care company headquartered in Moorestown, NJ-was recently named
one of the "25 Fastest-Growing Privately-Held Companies in South Jersey"
by the Philadelphia Business Journal and Rowan University.
Only privately held companies based in South Jersey that sustained sales
growth over a three-year period were considered for the honor. Rowan
University researchers, who developed the list in order to "take the
temperature of the business climate in South Jersey," found several
common elements that were central to the success of all 25 companies-ethics,
teamwork, people, process, and products/services.
"We are thrilled to be recognized as one of the 25 fastest-growing South
Jersey companies," said Mark Baiada, founder and president of Bayada
Nurses. "This honor is a testimony to our company values and the hard
work of our employees. We have always dedicated ourselves to providing
skilled, caring and reliable service, and I think this award demonstrates
that we have been successful."
Bayada's achievement is even more remarkable considering the fact that
health-care organizations are facing one of the most severe nursing
shortages in history. The key to Bayada's success in the face of such
an obstacle has been proactive recruitment and retention efforts-including
innovative training programs and marketing pieces that emphasize the
benefits of home care.
Founded in 1975, Bayada Nurses is an independently owned home health
care agency that employs more than 5,000 nurses, home health aides,
and therapists working from more than 60 offices in 11 states.
