Charlotte, NC
- Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce that it is opening a second office
in Charlotte, NC. The new office will specialize in personal care, while
the existing office will focus on skilled nursing services. The personal
care branch will be located at 9009 J.M. Keynes Drive, Suite 12. The skilled
office will remain at 8401 University Executive Park Drive, Suite 107.
Scheduled to open the first week of October, the new personal care office
will specialize in providing personal care and homemaker/companion services.
Employees will include Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs), homemakers,
and companions. Personal care staff from the current office will move
over to staff the new office. In addition, new staff members are being
added to both branches to service the company's growing caseload. Julie
Jordan will be the director of the new personal care office. Jordan has
worked for Bayada for three years as a Staff Supervisor and was promoted
to Service Director in July 2001.
The existing office will continue to provide skilled private duty and
visits to Medicaid, private pay and insurance clients. This office will
employ RNs, LPNs, social workers, and physical, speech and occupational
therapists. Melinda Phillips will remain as the director.
Tremendous growth was the primary factor in the decision to split the
office into two branches. "By creating two specialized offices, we feel
we can provide our clients with more undivided attention and better understand
their needs" says Phillips.
