Bayada Presidential Scholarship program

While Bayada Nurses has been celebrating education through scholarships to field employees since 2001, 2007 went down in history as the inaugural year for the Bayada Presidential Scholarship Program. The company’s platform for excellence in health care through education was expected to reach unprecedented heights and did, as scholarship funding was doubled from $50,000 to $100,000! The number of applications received last year soared, and over $136,000 in scholarship funds was awarded to deserving candidates.
Bayada Nurses will again reserve $100,000 for the funding of scholarships in 2009. Candidates will be eligible for individual awards up to $1,000 if they meet the following requirements:

The Bayada Presidential Scholarship Program is an extension of The Bayada Way on everything from encouraging the company’s core value of excellence and guaranteeing quality care for clients, to building relationships and recognizing valued employee contributions. Therefore, participation is sure to reflect positively on any office's recognition and retention efforts and alignment initiatives.

While flyers, applications, office signs, email blasts, and paycheck messages publicize the opportunity to field employees, it is important that each service office promotes this great opportunity as well. Bayada Nurses encourages every service office to participate fully in the program. As the Bayada Presidential Scholarship Program moves onward with additional funding and an improved communication campaign, numbers of applications generated are expected to move upward!
